My cousin was diagnosed with end stage cancer a few months back. After surgery, chemo and several outpouring of prayers including from our Lay Carmelite Night Prayer call all the cancer nodules have disappeared and only one very minute nodule remains. Earlier last week the doctor didn't find much effect from the chemo but this week the scan results showed this dramatic improvement which we believe is an outcome of the prayer support she received from numerous family and friends worldwide. She needs continued prayers for remission and full recovery.
My cousin had a relapse of her illness and entered eternal life on June 27th. Please pray for the repose of her soul.

On August 1st a friend of the Lay Carmelites in Rochester, NY passed away. Several years ago she had been diagnosed with a fatal genetic disorder and was told she would only live for a few months. The Lay Carmelite community and many prayer groups have kept her in prayer and she lived more than one decade. She told us that the doctors could not explain medically the reason for it and called her a walking miracle.
My father was critically ill since May 25th. On June 24th I arrived at the hospital and the situation seemed hopeless and that evening during our Lay Carmelite Night Prayer call we prayed for the healing of my father and invoked the intercession of Saint Anthony. The next day a priest from the nearby parish anointed him and gave him Holy Communion, immediately after receiving the sacrament of anointing he began to slowly recover his strength back. He came home from the hospital within a week. To me it was a miracle because everyone had lost hope and even my brother from Australia came because we thought he only had a few days remaining. The power of prayer and the gift of the sacraments never cease to amaze us.
